Why book Seafarer Recommended hotels

Seafarer Recommended is our preferred programme. Hotels that consistently deliver excellent experiences keep this status. Hotels that have issues don't get it. It's the best way to make sure your crew have a smooth stay.

We check these hotels have a restaurant and accept the expenses card. A restaurant that serves breakfast only doesn't count. We also look for 24-hour reception, but not every hotel has it.

To find them, filter on the left for "Seafarer recommended", under "Booking options". These hotels show a "Seafarer recommended" label.

You can still book any other hotel. If a port has no Seafarer Recommended hotel, email info@staze.com.
